Listen to the podcast.

K&L Gates recently hosted  a luncheon discussion focused on helping our local clients and friends gain a deeper understanding of FCPA compliance issues in China and the European Union. The first panel focused on the tension of addressing China’s labor law issues in the context of an FCPA investigation. The second panel discussed differing investigation protocols and procedures between the U.S. and countries in the EU.

Our speakers, gathered from a few of our firm’s global offices, shared the challenges and opportunities they are seeing on-the-ground in Seattle, Shanghai, London, Beijing, and Washington, D.C.

Our guest speakers included:

  • Christine Braamskamp - K&L Gates LLP - London
  • Julie Anne Halter - K&L Gates LLP - Seattle
  • Yujing Shu - K&L Gates LLP - Beijing
  • Amy Sommers - K&L Gates LLP - Shanghai
