Rob White

Rob White is a partner in the firm's Finance practice. He focuses on project finance, PPPs and general corporate finance work.

With over 20 years of finance and concession experience on Australian PPPs, complex infrastructure transactions, and domestic and international project finance deals (including renewable energy over the past 5 years). During this time, he has advised government, sponsors, borrowers and financiers on many complex and landmark transactions in a wide range of traditional sectors, like roads, rail, airports, defence, education, health and social housing, plus solar and wind. Rob also has a strong profile and interest in the university sector and has acted for a number of tertiary institutions on complex student accommodation and precinct development transactions.

Rob has a broad range of finance and project skills developed from advising on a wide range of infrastructure and banking transactions. His 'cross over' experience allows him to provide strategic advice to clients on complex contractual arrangements and legal issues, and his understanding of the key elements of large infrastructure projects helps him to achieve the best commercial outcomes for his clients.

Prior to joining K&L Gates, Rob worked as a partner in the banking and infrastructure practice at a global law firm in Sydney.
