Nicola Lane  is a senior associate in the firm's Real Estate practice. She advises listed corporate and private clients in their capacity as property developers, vendors, purchasers, landlords, and tenants in relation to their property transactions. She also assists clients in relation to ensuring they comply with their liquor licensing obligations.

While focusing on property related issues, Nicola is also actively involved in the firm's pro bono efforts ensuring that access to justice is available to those who are less fortunate.

During her time with the firm, Nicola has also gained experience in M&A transactions, corporate advisory and litigation.

REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE

Nicola has been with the firm since November 2015 as both a paralegal and lawyer. She has been a lawyer in the Perth Real Estate Practice since December 2017.

Recently, Nicola was selected as K&L Gates' representative to join the AmCham Young and Emerging Talent Academy, which is a joint K&L Gates and AmCham initiative that includes a monthly breakfast and learn session targeted to bring young and emerging leaders together with successful leaders of business and industry. Industry leaders included Rachel Cooke, former US Consul General for Western Australia, and Professor Lyn Beazley AO, 2015 WA Australian of the Year.

  • Nicola is the 2019 "Local Champion" for K&L Gates' annual Global Day of Service Program which is a coordinated effort by all K&L Gates offices which focuses on building and serving our local community. She will assist in organising the day for the Perth office and ensuring that assistance is offered to members of the community who are the most in need
