Acted for a major global retailer in relation to the roll out of its Western Australia retail network including, site acquisitions, drafting, and negotiation of agreements for lease and leases.
Acted for the city of Joondalup in relation to the negotiation and documentation of the AU$240 million Ocean Reef Marina.
Acted for a local government in relation to an AU$130 million aquatic, sporting, health, and education precinct which included a new headquarters and state of the art training facility for an AFL football club. Work included the drafting and negotiation of development agreements, leases, management agreements, and tenure negotiations with the football club and the state.
Acted for several families in relation to the disposal of a significant greenfields residential site (approx. 3,000 lot potential) to an ASX-listed entity.
Acted for a local government in relation to the AU$300 million, decade long, redevelopment of its car parking sites.
Acted for a global owner of timber plantations in relation to its assets in Western Australia. Work included strategic advice and detailed analysis of lease provisions.
Undertook a full analysis of the law, providing strategic advice, and preparing detailed submissions to DIMRS on behalf of a client applying to become a licensed real estate agent.
Acted in relation to the establishment of the management entity for a number of industrial property funds.
Undertook leasing and land acquisitions for a Western Australia-based industrial property group.
Acted for a family based in South East Asia in relation to the purchase of the land and business of two hotels.
Acted on the acquisition or disposal of more than 20 residential aged care facilities and retirement villages.
Acted for a private family in relation to the acquisition of a significant tract of strategically located core-industrial land. The transaction structure was complicated and required significant tax advice (including GST and duty advice).
