K&L Gates Energy, Infrastructure and Resources Practice Ranked by The Legal 500 United States 2020 Guide in Eight Categories with 28 Lawyers Recommended

The energy, infrastructure and resources practice of global law firm K&L Gates LLP has again received a Tier 1 ranking in the Transport: shipping - litigation and regulation category of The Legal 500 United States 2020 guide. Recent matters include having assisted Microsoft with its initiative to purchase 100% carbon-free and renewable energy to meet the needs of its Redmond, Washington campus; defending Interoceanic Corporation in arbitration before the Society of Maritime Arbitrators; acting for Devon Energy Production in a multi-plaintiff litigation relating to the alleged underpayment of royalties; and advising Madison Energy Investments on the formation of a solar portfolio development entity and associated equity investment by New York private equity fund Stonepeak Partners.
