Victor has been working in intellectual property since 2014. As a registered Patent and Trademark Attorney in the Intellectual Property group, Victor enjoys assisting clients with all aspects of patent protection, including in the drafting of patent specifications, infringement analyses as well as in the prosecution of patent applications in Australia, New Zealand and other major jurisdictions, including in the USA, and Europe.

Victor’s technical areas of experience include aerospace and automotive engineering, building and construction, mining, medical devices, and clean energy

Prior to joining K&L Gates, Victor worked at a top-tier IP firm drafting patent specifications for local clients, filing provisional applications in Australia, as well as prosecuting patent applications within Australia, New Zealand and overseas.

Victor also worked as a Patent Examiner at the Australian Patent Office for over seven years specialising in examining mechanical and civil engineering inventions. This experience enables him to utilize his connections within the Patent Office, which, combined with his intimate knowledge of Australian examination practice, is beneficial in providing comprehensive service for clients.
