Stacey Chiu is an associate in the firm’s Labor, Employment, and Workplace Safety practice, where she advises and represents employers across a wide range of industries including hospitality, technology, and manufacturing. She helps clients address employment law challenges, mitigate risks, and resolve disputes effectively.
Stacey’s experience includes defending employers in class actions, Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) matters, single-plaintiff lawsuits, and administrative proceedings. She handles wage and hour disputes involving claims of unpaid wages, off-the-clock work, expense reimbursement, and service charge issues, as well as allegations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination under the California Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA).
In addition to her litigation practice, Stacey provides advice on employment law compliance, conducting workplace investigations and wage and hour audits to help clients manage compliance risks. Her counsel also covers protected leave, reasonable accommodations, employee policy development, classification matters, and payroll setup. Stacey’s focus is on providing practical, business-oriented guidance in response to California’s evolving employment law requirements.
