Paul M. Suh

Paul Suh is an associate in the firm's Labor, Employment, and Workplace Safety practice. He focuses on defending employers in collective actions (wage and hour class actions and representative Private Attorneys General Act claims) and single-plaintiff matters involving discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, retaliation, and wage and hour issues in state and federal courts and arbitrations. He also handles pre-litigation disputes and state/federal agency matters involving Division of Occupational Safety and Health, Division of Labor Standards Enforcement, and Labor and Workforce Development Agency.

Paul also advises clients on business operations including wage and hour compliance and audits, pre-termination and workplace investigations, discrimination and harassment trainings, COVID-19 regulations, sick leave and paid-time off, leaves of absences, accommodations, misclassification and exemptions, privacy, and employment policies and agreements.

Prior to joining the firm, Paul served as an associate for a national labor and employment law firm. During law school, he served as outside counsel for non-profit organizations and social enterprises assisting on a variety of matters including corporate governance, transactions, operations and compliance. He also served as the senior technology editor for the Hastings Business Law Journal and judicial extern for the Honorable Monica F. Wiley.
