Meraj Noor is a partner in the firm’s Mergers and Acquisitions practice. He focuses his practice on securities and corporate law with strong focus on India related transactions. He has represented both issuers and underwriters in various public securities offerings by Indian companies on their 144A and Reg S equity offerings as well as on corporate commercial matters. He has also advised on several cross-border M&A matters across a wide range of sectors such as technology, health care and consumer products. In addition, Meraj has experience with corporate commercial matters and foreign investment advice.
Meraj is a qualified lawyer in India and foreign registered lawyer in Singapore.
Meraj has a strong reputation in the Indian market and has been named by the India Business Law Journal 2024-2019 to its top 100 international lawyers for India-related matters, naming him to its “A-List” of India lawyers around the world.

Prior to joining the firm, Meraj served as the international deputy chair of the global India group for a global law firm. Prior to re-locating to Singapore in 2009, Meraj worked in the Dubai office of a global law firm where he helped establish the firm’s India desk for the Middle East. Meraj started his career in Bangalore and subsequently worked in New Delhi with a leading Indian law firm as a member of the corporate and securities group advising domestic and international clients on various securities transactions.
