Mark Heine’s primary practice focuses on alternative investments, with an emphasis on both private investment fund formation and the representation of institutional investors. He has significant experience with complex investment fund structuring, including private equity funds, venture funds, real-estate funds, distressed asset funds, renewable energy funds, hedge funds, strategic partnerships and both closed-end and open-end fund of funds arrangements. He has worked with clients ranging from small start-ups to multi-billion dollar management entities. In connection with his institutional investor-side practice, Mark has represented investors in more than 300 fund investments over the past five years. Additional areas of Mark’s practice include advising clients on asset management and investment funds regulatory matters and fund management matters.
