Leah Pesso is an associate in the firm’s Commercial Disputes practice. During law school, Leah served as a capital litigation legal intern for the Miami Dade Public Defenders Office where she drafted motions to suppress evidence and conducted research on violations of the Vienna Convention, client competency, and intellectual disabilities. Leah was also a summer associate in the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice. Through this role, Leah prepared litigation documents for state court including motions to dismiss and interrogatories. In addition, she assisted team members in drafting an Amicus Curiae brief in support of a petitioner appealing a death sentence at the Supreme Court.
