Laura Scott is a trainee solicitor and is currently working in the firm’s IP Procurement and Portfolio Management practice as well as the Antitrust, Competition, and Trade Regulation practice.
In the IP Procurement and Portfolio Management practice group, Laura assists with providing advice to clients in relation to the protection and enforcement of their IP rights, including copyright, trade marks and design rights on both a contentious and advisory basis. Laura has experience in assisting through searches, research and cease and desist letters.
In the Antitrust, Competition, and Trade Regulation practice, Laura assists the team with advice in the consumer goods section (including luxury, fashion, electronics and beauty), in relation to sustainability matters and general antitrust compliance, with particular focus on the vertical distribution laws and abuse of dominance. Further, she assists the team with merger control, UK National Security and Investment Act filings and FDI filings. Laura also assists on consumer law and marketing matters such as greenwashing and marketing claims.
She has gained experience in client facing training and networking events throughout her seats. She is particularly interested in fashion, luxury and AI.
Laura can speak English and German fluently.
