K&L Gates Lawyer Named ‘Partner of the Year' at Luxury Law Awards

London - K&L Gates partner Arthur Artinian has been named “Partner of the Year” at the 2021 Luxury Law Awards ceremony held on September 22.

Organized in conjunction with the Luxury Law Summit, the Luxury Law Awards each year recognize the law firms, in-house legal teams, deals, individuals, and lifetime achievements required to guide a luxury business or brand to profitable success. According to the judging panel, “Arthur has built a reputation in luxury and fashion law which is second to none. With a client list spanning iconic fashion houses, design, art, and luxury consumer brands, he has embedded himself in his clients’ businesses and is seen as a business advisor who operates front and centre of their global strategic decisions.”

Based in the firm’s London office, Artinian is internationally recognized in the fashion, luxury and design industries, leading a number of key global client relationships for the firm and advising on global IP strategy, brand and design enforcement, licensing, advertising and marketing, collaboration and sponsorship projects, and a range of international transactions and disputes.

Artinian is a founding member of the Luxury Law Alliance and advises a number of iconic fashion houses, design, publishing, art and architecture firms, including the houses of a leading global luxury group. His clients include leading names from the UK, Italy, France, Spain, the U.S., Asia, and Australia.

Over the last 12 months, Artinian and his team advised on a number of market-leading projects, including Coty’s global roll out of the Kylie Jenner beauty business, Ralph Lauren’s global sponsorship of the Olympic Games, various projects for Gucci, a multi-jurisdictional trademark dispute on behalf of Nike against Puma, and the development and opening of leading “starchitect” Renzo Piano’s Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles.
