K&L Gates Expands Litigation Practice With Wilmington Partner Addition

Wilmington – Global law firm K&L Gates LLP welcomes Robert Beste as a partner in its Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice. He joins the firm’s Wilmington office from Smith, Katzenstein & Jenkins LLP.

With nearly 25 years of experience, Beste focuses his extensive trial work on corporate and commercial litigation in Delaware’s state and federal courts. He has advised clients through trial in Delaware’s courts, as well as appellate work in Delaware’s Supreme Court.

Beste routinely represents clients in Delaware’s Court of Chancery in matters related to governance and control disputes involving corporations and limited liability companies, breach of fiduciary duty matters, director election contests, books and records actions, advancement and indemnification disputes, and other corporate disputes.

Beste’s arrival follows the additions of New York partner Todd Fishman, Orange County partner Eva Weiler, and Seattle partner John Bender to the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice in the last year. Corporate partner Kelly Terribile also recently joined the firm’s Wilmington office.
