K&L Gates Advises Clean Power Hydrogen plc on £6.3 Million Fundraising for Flagship Electrolyser Technology
Global law firm K&L Gates has advised Clean Power Hydrogen plc (CPH2), the UK-based green hydrogen technology and manufacturing company that has developed the IP-protected Membrane-Free Electrolyser, on a successful placing, subscription and retail offer of more than 84 million new shares, to raise gross proceeds of over £6.3 million.
The London-based deal team was led by Corporate partner James Green with support from senior associate Robert Boughey, associates Courtney Hunter and Eklavya Sharma, and trainee solicitors Luke Vaghela and Matt Fernandes.
Jon Duffy, CEO of CPH2, commented: “We are pleased to have secured this additional funding, which will allow us to further progress and enter into the next phase of CPH2's development, targeting the full commercialisation of our flagship MFE220 unit and the generation of first revenues in 2025. James, Rob, and the rest of the K&L Gates team have been responsive, commercial and committed to helping us achieve the fundraising. Their experience has been extremely valuable as we worked together to complete the transaction.”
