Jack Whitfield is an associate and a member of the Commercial Disputes practice group. Prior to becoming an associate at the firm, he served as a summer associate in the Washington, D.C., and Nashville offices, performing legal research and writing for the Commercial Disputes and White-Collar Defense practices. During law school, Jack served as a legal extern for the US House Committee on Oversight and Accountability, and the US House Judiciary Committee. 

Prior to attending law school, Jack served as an infantry officer in the US Army. After graduating from the US Army’s Airborne and Ranger Schools, Jack served with the 82nd Airborne Division. Jack deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Inherent Resolve.
