Advised PT Pertamina Hulu Energi on the purchase of Shell’s participating interest in Indonesia’s Masela Production Sharing Contract which hosts the giant Abadi gas field, together with Petronas Masela Sdn. Bhd.
Advised Hexagon AB on its acquisition of Minnovare.
Advised Southern Cross Electrical Engineering Limited (SCEE) on its acquisition of Trivantage Holdings Pty Ltd for up to AU$53.5 million.
Advised Southern Cross Electrical Engineering Limited on its acquisition of the Heyday5 Group for an enterprise value of up to AU$54 million.
Advised Southern Cross Electrical Engineering Limited on its AU$17 million acquisition of Datatel Communications Pty Ltd.
Advised Rox Resources Limited on its joint venture acquisition of Youanmi Gold Mine with Venus Metals Limited.
Advising Rox Resources on the acquisition of the Collurabbie nickel and gold project.
Advised SMS Mining Services in relation to its merger with the Rivet Group.
Advised DRA Global Holdings Proprietary Limited on its AU$31 million acquisition of Minnovo Pty Ltd.
Advised DRA Global Limited on its acquisition of G&S Engineering from the Calibre Group.
Advised iiNet Limited on its AU$1.57 billion merger by scheme of arrangement with TPG Telecom Limited.
Advised Suntarget (Hong Kong) Trading Co Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ningbo Xianfeng New Material Co., Ltd on its AU$27 million on-market takeover bid for Kresta Holdings Limited.
Advised Cott Oil and Gas Limited on the sale of its 40% interest in the PNG Pandora Gas Field to Twinza Oil Ltd.

Capital Markets

Represented Azure Minerals Limited (ASX: AZS) in an AU$130 million capital raising, comprising an AU$120 million institutional placement and an AU$10 million share purchase plan.
Advised Duratec Limited on the company’s listing on the ASX and successful initial public offer (IPO), the largest in Western Australia in 2020.
Advised Pioneer Credit Limited on its AU$20 million placement and priority offer.
Advised Burgundy Diamond Mines Limited on its AU$49.7 million capital raise comprising of an AU$15.2 million placement and the issue of AU$34.5 million worth of convertible notes.
Advised Cenkos Securities, as nomad, on the admission to AIM of Neometals Ltd, an ASX-listed company (Australian law aspects).
Advised Ionic Rare Earths Limited (ASX: IXR) in its capital raising comprising of a placement of AU$6 million and a share purchase plan of AU$2 million.
Advised Blackham Resources Limited on its recapitalisation, comprising a refinancing of its term loan with Orion Fund JV Limited via a secured AU$14.3 million loan facility with its key mining contractor MACA Limited, rescheduling of amounts due to its principal contractors and a fully underwritten AU$36 million renounceable rights issue which included subunderwriting from both Orion and MACA.
Advised EHR Resources Limited on its AU$2 million capital raising and ASX re-compliance listing following its entry into a farm in agreement with Canadian company, Eloro Resources Limited, to acquire up to a 25% interest in the La Victoria gold and silver project in Peru.

Foreign Investment Approval

Advising Continental AG and its Australian subsidiaries, on the Australian foreign investment regulatory implications of its acquisition of the Wesfarmers owned Kmart Tyre and Auto Services network (KTAS), including the preparation of its foreign investment review board application. This was awarded M&A Deal of the Year (Over AU$250 million to AU$500 million), 2019 at the 11th Annual International M&A Awards hosted by The M&A Advisor.
Advising Sinch on the Australian foreign investment regulatory implications of its acquisition of MessageMedia for US$1.1 billion including the preparation of its foreign investment review board application.
Advising Wirtgen Invest on Australian foreign investment regulatory implications of the acquisition of the Glenrowan West Solar Farm, including the preparation of its foreign investment review board application.
