Dentsply Sirona Inc. in its US$1 billion acquisition in January 2021 of the at-home clear aligner company Byte.
Dentsply Sirona Inc. in its acquisition in January 2021 of Datum Dental, an Israel-based biotechnology company known for its innovative dental regeneration products.
G-III Apparel Group, Ltd. in its acquisition of Donna Karan International, Inc., parent of the Donna Karan and DKNY brands in December 2016.
Endo International plc in its US$8 billion acquisition in September 2015 of US-based Par Pharmaceutical Holdings from a private investment firm.

Gurnet Point L.P., a health care PE fund, in designing its exit strategies, including IPO, from its investment in Innocoll Holdings.
Gurnet Point L.P. in structuring debt of Corium, a biopharmaceutical portfolio company in 2021.
Gurnet Point L.P. in its acquisition in July 2017 of Innocoll Holdings plc, a global pharmaceutical and medical device company.
Apax Partners in its acquisition in November 2012 of Cole Haan handbag and shoe brand.
Apax Partners in its US$6.3 billion acquisition in 2011 of Acelity (formerly known as Kinetic Concepts, Inc. or KCI), a leading global medical device company, and its divestiture in 2019 for US$6.7 billion.
Designed and implemented during the global financial crisis of 2007-2009 offshore debt-buy-back structures for PE funds and their US portfolio companies to eliminate cancellation of indebtedness income and secure withholding tax exemption on interest payments. Representative PE funds included Bain Capital, Providence Equity Partners, and Advent.
