Acted on behalf of an Italian publicly listed company in its acquisition of a UAE based industrial roping and window cleaning group.

Acted on behalf of one of the largest shipbuilding companies in the region in drafting and negotiating a EUR€1 billion shipbuilding and naval procurement contract to be supplied to a foreign state’s navy together with various sub-contracts under the same project and negotiated with a number of European OEMs and shipbuilders.

Acted for a capital market group in its acquisition of a coffee and cigar business in London, England, which involved a complex price adjustment mechanism, tax issues, and difficult negotiations lasting over six months.

Acted on behalf of the shareholders of a large candy and sweets manufacturer in successfully capitalizing their in-kind contributions by way of an increase of share capital with a value of approx. AED100 million in the DMCC.

Advised in the negotiation and drafting of a number of English law governed joint ventures in the KSA and the UAE for a global ship manager/charterer and provider of offshore support services in its ventures with various entities in the shipping and aviation sectors, including with a subsidiary of Saudi Aramco in respect of a new shipyard, and offshore support services facility.

Acted on a commercial dispute which resulted in securing a landmark judgment against a UAE-based debtor who was ordered to reverse dispositions of assets to family members to enable the creditor to enforce its claim against those disposed assets.
