Drew V. Carson

Drew Carson is a patent technical specialist in the firm’s IP Procurement and Portfolio Management practice group. Drew completed a Ph.D. in chemical and biological engineering at Princeton University, where his research focused on bioactive natural products, specifically a class of bacterial peptides known as lasso peptides, where he studied their biosynthesis, structures, and mechanisms of action. Prior to Princeton, Drew attended Penn State University, where he graduated with an honors degree in chemical engineering as well as a mathematics minor. Drew has experience in technologies related to chemical engineering, biological engineering, molecular biology, biochemistry, microbiology, and chemistry.
