Clara M. Virden

Clara Virden is an associate in the firm’s Commercial Disputes practice group whose practice focuses on complex commercial litigation. She brings four years of experience working as an accountant in both the private and government sectors. 

During law school, Clara was a summer associate at K&L Gates in 2020 and a legal intern with a Seattle-based sustainable timberland company. She also practiced in the Race and Justice Clinic at the University of Washington Law School, where she provided legal representation to incarcerated youth of color and assisted with clemency petitions. She also served as an extern to Chief Justice González in the Washington Supreme Court. 

Prior to joining the firm, Clara served as a judicial law clerk for Justice Mary Yu in the Washington Supreme Court, as well as for Judge Erik Price in the Washington Court of Appeals, Division II.

Clara has been a board member for the Northwest Community Bail Fund since 2022.
