Andrew H. Tabler

Andrew Tabler is a government affairs advisor and a member of the Public Policy and Law practice group.

Prior to joining the firm, Andrew was a vice president for government affairs, where he engaged with clients focusing on aerospace, supply chain security, and autonomy. He translated client priorities into executable plans, crafted Congressional and Department of Defense engagement strategies, advised clients with COVID-19 regulatory and relief efforts, and identified and tracked legislation and regulations that impacted client priorities.

Before his private sector experience, Andrew served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Senate Affairs in the Department of Defense. He lead the Department’s advocacy for key defense priorities and programs (especially with regard to the annual National Defense Authorization Act), oversaw the confirmation process for all of the President’s senior defense nominees, and maintained relationships with key members and staff. While responsible for every facet of DoD policy, Andrew specialized in acquisition and emerging technologies like artificial intelligence and 5G.

Andrew served on the House Armed Services Committee staff and is a former U.S. Navy officer.
