Amanda Smith is admitted to practice in Maryland. She is not currently admitted in the District of Columbia. She is supervised by a member of the D.C. Bar.
Amanda Smith is counsel in the firm’s Health Care and FDA practice with a focus on the federal 340B drug pricing program, advising clients on regulatory, legislative, and litigation matters related to the program. Prior to joining the firm, Amanda was legal counsel for a not-for-profit association of hospitals and health systems. She developed state and federal regulatory, legal, and legislative advocacy in the areas of health policy and drug pricing, as well as provided compliance support to the association’s respective members. She played a key role in the development of state level policy and advocacy resources, created the association’s grassroots advocacy program and coordinated advocacy efforts between hospitals and Congress.
She also served as a Health Care Law Clerk for the United States Senate Committee on Finance and as a United States Senate Page.
