Professional Background

Prior to joining K&L Gates, Ms. Chen was a staff lawyer at one of the largest international law firms located in Menlo Park, California. She has particular experience with international antitrust litigation discovery and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) investigations. Ms. Chen has performed intricate factual investigations of anti-competitive conduct allegedly committed by Greater China heavy industry companies, participated in discovery in the defense of a Fortune Global 500 Bank regarding alleged violations of anti-money laundering regulations, and performed evidentiary analysis in defense of a global diagnostics company against allegations of FCPA violations.
