Stephen Moller has a broad range of expertise in banking and finance transactions. Mr. Moller's structured finance practice focuses on receivables financing, supply chain finance and securitisation as well as OTC derivatives advice and DCM transactions. His broader banking experience includes real estate finance, asset based lending, finance for corporate acquisitions and project finance transactions. He also has significance experience in relation to debt restructurings, rescue financings and distressed debt acquisitions/disposals. Recently, Mr. Moller has been active in the FinTech market, establishing platforms to allow new entrants to the financial markets to originate and acquire financial assets. In addition to his bank and corporate clients, Mr. Moller acts regularly for private equity funds, hedge funds and other investors in relation to structured finance and banking matters. He also advises clients on matters of general corporate governance and financial regulation.

Professional Background

Before joining K&L Gates in February 2010, Mr. Moller was a Partner for 11 years in the Financial Markets group of another international law firm. He has been based in London throughout his career except for a period between 2002 and 2005 when he was seconded to Germany to oversee the establishment of his previous firm’s Frankfurt office.
