Shane Devins is an associate in the firm’s Portland office and a member of the corporate and real estate practice groups. His practice touches nearly all aspects of transactional corporate and real estate law, but he primarily focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and the acquisition and disposition of multifamily, retail, office, agricultural, and industrial properties. Shane’s practice also includes assisting and advising investors and operators in the agricultural and resort/hospitality industry sectors, and he has extensive experience in the drafting and negotiation of design, construction, and development agreements.

Professional Background

Prior to joining K&L Gates, Shane was a corporate and real estate associate in Los Angeles, CA, where he predominantly worked with and advised local and foreign clients based in Asia on the potential risks, exposure, and benefits of business and commercial real estate transactions in the United States.
