Sarah Bronder is an associate in the Pittsburgh office. Ms. Bronder concentrates her practice on commercial litigation in a variety of substantive areas, including contract actions, business tort disputes, and breach of fiduciary duty claims. Ms. Bronder’s practice also includes the defense of corporations in product liability actions and the representation of corporate policyholders seeking insurance coverage for environmental and toxic tort liabilities. In her insurance coverage practice, Ms. Bronder was an integral member of a team that recently obtained a unanimous verdict in favor of the policyholder seeking insurance coverage for silica-related liabilities.

Ms. Bronder has been involved in all aspects of litigation, including initial client consultation, discovery, depositions, trial preparation, trial, and appeals. In addition, Ms. Bronder has substantial international commercial arbitration experience, including the representation of a corporate client in a dispute implicating issues of Chinese law before the American Arbitration Association International Centre for Dispute Resolution.

Professional Background

Ms. Bronder was a summer associate with K&L Gates in the summer of 2011. She presented research findings to lawyers and clients on issues of complex expert testimony, employee stock ownership plans, patent infringement, and the Uniform Commercial Code. She assisted lawyers in the areas of commercial litigation, corporate transactions, insurance coverage litigation, intellectual property litigation and mergers and acquisitions.

Ms. Bronder is an adjunct professor in the Trial Advocacy Department of Duquesne University School of Law where she instructs students on how to properly prepare and present motions, statements, arguments, and examinations. Ms. Bronder also coaches the Duquesne University School of Law National Trial Team.
