Robert W. Connors concentrates his practice in patent prosecution and intellectual property litigation. He regularly prosecutes patents in mechanical, electro-mechanical, business method and Internet-related technology areas.
Mr. Connors represents clients in all areas of intellectual property litigation, including patent, trademark and copyright matters. He has extensive experience with patent-related opinions and client counseling concerning patent, licensing and related business issues in the U.S. and foreign countries. Also, he is an accomplished design engineer and inventor.
Previously, Mr. Connors spent seven years as a project and design engineer for Air Liquide America Corporation, the largest industrial gas supplier in the world. At Air Liquide, he developed technology and equipment that used industrial gases. He analyzed the gas consuming processes, evaluated their merits, wrote software programs, oversaw the construction of associated equipment, and performed customer start-ups. As a result of these efforts, he is a named inventor on six U.S. patents and one U.S. patent application.
