Ms. Roth is an associate in the firm’s Seattle office. Prior to joining K&L Gates, Ms. Roth was an associate at another Seattle law firm, focusing her practice on counseling clients in trademark, copyright, and related intellectual property matters. She counseled clients of all sizes in a variety of industries, including technology and digital content, retail, apparel, cosmetics, hospitality, and food and beverages. She is experienced in trademark selection, prosecution, protection and enforcement, copyright registration, and domain name matters. Ms. Roth has assisted clients with intellectual property portfolio management and brand protection strategies, cease and desist letters related to copyright, trademark, and trade dress infringement, Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) take-down notices, Uniform Domain Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP) proceedings, administrative proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, and trademark prosecution and enforcement in foreign jurisdictions. She has also worked at a U.S. based international law firm advising clients on commercial litigation matters, counseling clients with respect to investigations and white collar defense matters, assisting clients with cases involving securities litigation, complex synthetic CDO transactions, and responding to inquiries and subpoenas from the DOJ, government regulatory agencies, and SROs.
Ms. Roth was a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Peter W. Hall of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
