Mr. Kawanaka is an associate in the firm’s Tokyo office. He advises Japanese and international clients in a variety of industries on transactional and regulatory matters including Japanese financial and investment regulations, cross-border and Japan domestic M&A and other corporate transactions, and acquisition, financing and disposition of commercial real estate. Mr. Kawanaka also has experience Japanese civil and criminal litigation.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Kawanaka worked at a US-based international law firm in Tokyo as an associate.
