Ms. Leahy studied psychology before starting her legal studies at the College of Law in 2009, when she also began working as a legal assistant for an employment law firm in Kent, UK. In 2010, Ms. Leahy moved to London and began working as a paralegal, where she assisted with asbestos-related industrial disease claims. In August 2011, Ms. Leahy began working with a in London law firm, supporting the Personal Injury and Medical Negligence Department by assisting with personal injury, medical negligence and industrial disease claims. She stayed in this role for close to two and a half years before relocating to Dubai in December 2013. She worked in-house for a short period of time with a leading international construction consultant before commencing her employment with a global law firm in May 2014, where she supported the Litigation and Regulatory Department. She is currently studying the Legal Practice Course with an expected completion date in January 2017.
