Mr. Armstrong was a K&L Gates summer associate in 2014. Prior to joining K&L Gates, Mr. Armstrong served as a law clerk for the special prosecutions and homicide units in the Office of the Orange County (CA) District Attorney, appearing on behalf of the People while working for the felony preliminary hearing panel. Before that, he was a legal intern for the U.S. Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, where he drafted memoranda for USMC cases, including business, family law, and landlord/tenant disputes.
Mr. Armstrong worked at the Legal Aid Society of Orange County (CA) in the Workers’ Rights Clinic, providing pro bono legal work to clients. He also served as a judicial extern for the Superior Court of California, County of Orange - Civil Panel.
Prior to practicing law, Mr. Armstrong worked in corporate human resources, employee relations, and labor relations for a Burbank, CA based Fortune 100 corporation.
