Michael Chan is a partner in the firm's Hong Kong office.  He focuses his practice in mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private equity investments, banking and finance, real estate, and other general corporate and commercial work.

Professional Background

Michael Chan has been practicing law in Hong Kong since 1986. He had practiced at international firm and local firm before joining K&L Gates. He is also a notary public of Hong Kong.

Michael acted as an independent non-executive director and member of the audit committee of a mortgage finance company listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange from 2002 to 2005.
