Session 4a @ 1.30 pm – IP Bites: An update on recent IP legislative and case law developments In this session, Chris Round (Partner – Intellectual Property) will provide an update on the latest developments in trade marks, copyright, designs, patents, domain names and confidential information. The session will focus on Australian legislative changes and recent case law. We will also update you on some foreign IP developments that impact Australian companies. CPD Points: this session will count as 1 hour / point towards Substantive Law training requirements. OR Session 4b @ 1.30 pm – The art of people leadership in complex times Clare Monger is Associate Director of Human Resources at K&L Gates and has over 15 years' experience in the field of people, organisational culture and strategy. She develops and implements programs to enhance culture and develop leadership capability. She has a particular interest in the way an organisation can leverage diversity to influence business outcomes, improve internal culture and its relationship to the community. Clare is recently trained in brain based coaching with the Neuroleadership Institute and works with existing and aspiring leaders to encourage them to become productive and effective leaders.
