Laura Veith concentrates her law practice in the area of commercial litigation, with a particular focus in the insurance coverage and complex contract dispute practice areas. Ms. Veith is experienced in all stages of litigation in state and federal courts across the country.

Ms. Veith’s commercial litigation experience includes commercial contract, warranty, and product liability cases. In the insurance coverage arena, Ms. Veith has represented policyholder interests in a variety of insurance coverage disputes, including long-tail asbestos and environmental liabilities, claims under professional and employers’ liability policies, and property and general liability insurance policies.

Professional Background

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Veith was a Pre-Trial Chamber legal clerk for the United Nations Assistance to the Khmer Rouge Trials at the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia. Ms. Veith was a summer associate in the firm’s Pittsburgh office in 2014. In addition, Ms. Veith was a legal intern to President Judge Jeffrey A. Manning of the Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas in 2015 and Chief Judge Joy Flowers Conti of the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania in 2013. Before her career in law, Ms. Veith was a high school teacher in rural Thailand.
