Kevin White is an associate in the firm’s San Francisco office and is part of the firm’s Investment Management, Hedge Funds and Alternative Investments practice. His practice involves advising alternative investment managers on a variety of fund formation, product structuring, management, transactional, regulatory and compliance, including securities law and commodities law, matters. His practice includes representing managers of hedge funds, venture funds, private equity funds, hybrid funds, and fund-of-funds. He also represents institutional investors in connection with their investments in alternative investment funds. He has experience advising a wide range of clients, including managers of funds of funds.

Professional Background

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. White was a senior associate in the alternative investment management practice of the Chicago office of an international law firm. During such time, he participated in a six-month secondment with a major alternative investment fund manager. In addition, while at Harvard Law School he was a teaching fellow for Harvard University’s Social Analysis 10 (introductory undergraduate microeconomics and macroeconomics), for which he received a Certificate of Distinction in Teaching from the Derek Bok Center for Teaching and Learning as a result of outstanding evaluations.
