Mr. Shi has experience in a broad spectrum of property matters involving by-laws, easements, caveats, call options, leasing, property acquisitions and disposals (including off the plan acquisitions) and due diligence.

Prior to joining K&L Gates, Mr. Shi worked as a commercial transactions lawyer, advising and acting for religious institutions, SMEs, associations and high net worth individuals. Mr. Shi also has experience in matters dealing with technology agreements, distribution agreements, succession and corporate advisory work.

    • the Australian subsidiary of a multinational aerospace and defence company.
  • Assisting various banks to facilitate the discharge of large mortgage portfolios.
  • Acting for various banks, receivers and managers and liquidators on the sale of distressed assets (including premium property assets and commercial, retail, residential and rural properties across Australia) involving the transfer of liquor licence and gaming machine entitlements.
