Mr. Orola is a lawyer with extensive experience in property law including advising on the acquisition and disposal of commercial buildings, shopping centres and industrial buildings together with due diligence, negotiation of transaction documents and settlement.

Mr. Orola also has leasing experience and has acted for both landlords and tenants. He has prepared, advised on and negotiated commercial leases, industrial leases, retail leases and leases over property with complex titling structures.

Mr. Orola's clients include developers, large institutions, private companies, major property trusts and investment funds.

  • Advising on behalf of various institutional funds on the purchase and sale of numerous regional and sub-regional shopping centres throughout Queensland.
  • Advising a major institutional fund on fund through arrangements for future shopping centre developments, including preparing and negotiating development management agreements, contracts of sale, ancillary deeds and documentation, and carrying out extensive legal due diligence.
  • Advising on behalf of an institutional fund on the sale of commercial buildings on the eastern seaboard.
  • Advising on both commercial and retail leasing of airport and port assets.
  • Advising a high net worth individual's retail leasing portfolio across multiple shopping centers.
  • Advising a national law firm, national media firm and other large professional organisations with respect to their commercial lease space, including preparing and negotiating agreement for lease, leases, incentive deeds and other ancillary documentation.
  • Advising receivers, managers and mortgagees with respect to the sale of distressed assets.
