Isabel Kainer-Pfuhl is an associate in the firm’s Frankfurt office, advising on intellectual property litigation. She focuses on patent, trademark and unfair competition litigation. Prior to joining K&L Gates in July 2015, Ms. Kainer-Pfuhl worked in the IP department of another leading international law firm in Frankfurt for several years. She studied law at the University of Bayreuth/Germany. During her legal traineeship, she spent several months in other leading international law firms with a focus on IP litigation. She received her Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Auckland/New Zealand. Being a member of the DFG Graduate School “Intellectual Property and the Public Domain”, she obtained a doctorate degree in the fields of IP and sports law.
