Hubert Wysoczański is a member of the Dispute Resolution and Arbitration practice, and also the Energy and Environment Team. His practice focuses on commercial and construction litigation (i.a. the FIDIC contracts), public procurement law, as well as commercial and investment arbitration.
His practice also includes advising clients in energy projects and disputes (preparation of the investment process and grid interconnection agreements). He also advises on administrative and court proceedings regarding environmental permits, planning and zoning permissions, and building permits, particularly in the renewable energy sector.
Hubert has advised on a number of energy projects, including 27 wind farms. He has participated in matters important for the shaping of the renewable energy market in Poland, such as advising on the development of the first off-shore wind farm projects. Hubert has also counseled on a number of large infrastructure projects, including roads, highways and mines.
Prior to joining K&L Gates, Mr. Wysoczański gained experienced in the Warsaw office of another international law firm, in the Commercial Disputes and Arbitration department. Previously he worked at the Legal Clinic of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, in the Civil Law Section. He also did an internship with the Commercial Division of the Regional Court in Krakow, where he dealt with unfair competition cases.
