Corinne Smith is an associate in the firm’s Seattle office. Her practice focuses on representing public and private companies in corporate and transactional law, including mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financings, securities law compliance, and corporate governance.

Ms. Smith has represented emerging growth companies as they navigate their initial corporate structure and pursue early financing rounds. Her transactional work generally focuses on middle-market transactions, often in tech and real estate industries.

Ms. Smith is active in pro bono work, including work with the theatre/performing arts world as well as advocacy on behalf of women and LGBT people.


Professional Background

Ms. Smith was a K&L Gates summer associate in 2014. During law school, she participated in the Recording Artist Project at Harvard Law School, providing pro bono transactional services for emerging music artists in the Boston area. She also taught a copyright class as a teaching fellow in Harvard’s CopyrightX program. Ms. Smith worked as a summer intern at the Institute for Justice, a public interest impact litigation firm.
