Mr. McCann is a corporate transactional lawyer primarily involved in private treaty mergers and acquisitions in the Australian mid-market, advising on transactions with a typical deal size of between AUD30m and AUD300m. He has extensive experience in negotiating complex acquisitions, divestments and investments and is valued for his technical legal skills and commercial acumen. He has a broad client base ranging from private equity firms to blue chip corporates. Mr. McCann also has specific industry expertise in warranty and indemnity insurance having previously acted for global insurance companies on over 100 insured M&A transactions.

Prior to joining K&L Gates, Mr. McCann played an integral role in growing the corporate M&A practice of a leading Australian national law firm to become a market leader in the Australian mid-market M&A landscape.
