Sheila R. Phillips

Sheila Phillips is a staff lawyer with K&L Gates’ e-discovery analysis and technology group (e-DAT), a dedicated, firmwide practice group that deploys advanced technology, including predictive analytics and other technology assisted review resources. Sheila advises clients on a range of electronic discovery issues and strives to develop cost effective strategies to respond to each matter with an emphasis on increasing efficiencies and promoting collaboration among members of the legal team, including trial counsel, vendors, IT and other technical support personnel.

Sheila handles all stages of electronic discovery and manages document analysis and review projects as the primary/lead staff attorney on matters, including complex commercial litigation, government and internal investigations, business transactions, antitrust, patent and trade secrets litigation.

Sheila is engaged in all aspects of the discovery process, including: identification, preservation and collection, processing, document review and production.

Prior to coming to K&L Gates, Sheila worked in HR consulting and temporary staffing industries. In addition, Sheila volunteers for the King County Bar Assn - Renton and Loren Miller Bar Neighborhood Legal Clinic, which serves King County and Washington State residents who might otherwise have no access to the legal system.
