Edyta Krukowska-Szczerba is an Advocate and cooperates as a Senior Associate with the innovative energy and environmental protection team of K&L Gates' Warsaw office. She has taken part in numerous projects related to energy law, including acquisition of energy companies, as well as in transactions regarding financing of entrepreneurs including target companies operating wind farms. Edyta Krukowska-Szczerba has organized and has been a team leader in due diligence processes of energy projects.

Edyta Krukowska-Szczerba provides day-to-day services to numerous limited liability and joint stock companies, both with Polish and foreign capital. She advises also in wide range of matters related to labor law and employment of foreigners. She has taken part in numerous negotiations with trade unions regarding collective bargaining agreements, social packages and voluntary redundancy programs. She has extensive experience in obtaining work and residence permits for foreigners in Poland.

She also represents clients before the courts and administrative authorities.

Professional Background

Prior to joining K&L Gates, she completed periods of training at the Warsaw offices of other leading international law firms. She also cooperated with the labor department of the Law Clinic at Warsaw University.
