Mr. Osipovich practices in the area of complex commercial litigation, with a particular focus on policyholder-side insurance coverage matters and class action defense. He has represented clients in a variety of industries, including aerospace, energy, health care, and manufacturing.

Mr. Osipovich has experience with every phase of litigation, including depositions, expert discovery, summary judgment, trial, appeal, and settlement. He has represented both plaintiffs and defendants, and has experience in both state and federal courts.

Mr. Osipovich’s experience includes:

  • Represented advanced-composites manufacturer in suit seeking insurance coverage for environmental liabilities arising out of EPA Superfund site.
  • Defended appliance manufacturer in products-liability class action.
  • Defended energy company in action involving breach of contract claim and environmental property damage claim brought by oil and gas lessors.
  • Represented military-aircraft-parts manufacturer in suit seeking insurance coverage under employment-practices liability policy for underlying claim of wrongful dismissal and retaliation.
  • Defended health-care company in declaratory judgment action brought by insurer seeking a declaration of no coverage under an excess workers’ compensation policy.
  • Represented heavy manufacturer in suit seeking insurance coverage for asbestos liabilities.
  • Represented software company in suit against certain of its shareholders for breach of shareholder agreement.
  • Counseled coal-mine operator on insurance coverage issues pertaining to property damage arising from earthquake and flooding under a first-party property and business interruption policy.
