K&L Gates Welcomes Dallas Addition to Health Care Practice

Dallas - The Dallas office of global law firm K&L Gates LLP has added Joshua Skora to its health care practice. He joins K&L Gates from Brown & Fortunato, P.C., and formerly served as general counsel of a Minneapolis-based medical device manufacturer.

Skora represents a wide range of health care clients, including pharmacies, durable medical equipment providers, medical device manufacturers, home health agencies, laboratories, diagnostic testing facilities, medical practices, and hospitals. He advises companies on a variety of corporate and regulatory compliance issues related to HIPAA, Stark Law, False Claims Act, and Anti-Kickback Statutes. He also represents clients in connection with Medicare, Medicaid, and private payor audits and appeals. Skora has defended health care providers in both state and federal courts as well as before the Government Accountability Office and Court of Federal Claims against bid protests.
