Christine Jung joined K&L Gates in April of 2016. She is an experienced paralegal having worked in the industry for over five years, primarily within litigation and arbitration, personal injury and probate trust and estates and gift and estate tax. Ms. Jung’s experience includes a wide range of tasks such as bundle preparation for sizable arbitrations and investigations, reviewing and considering documents to assist in the formulation of the discovery plan, liaising with clients, experts and witnesses and drafting witness statements thereafter, assisting Counsel with trial preparation and conducting legal research. She is also familiar with drafting legal documents such as petitions for probate and other interim court pleadings, deeds, promissory notes, assignments, and affidavits. She has assisted in the investigation and allocation of assets to beneficiaries and assisted in a number of trust litigation matters. Ms. Jung has prepared numerous United States Federal Estate Tax Returns and audit responses for estates of various complexities. In addition, Ms. Jung has also participated in pro-bono matters in the U.S. and Dubai.

Professional Background

Ms. Jung earned two bachelors degrees, from California State University, Long Beach, in International Studies and Political Science and minored in Spanish. Ms. Jung’s five-year paralegal experience working in Los Angeles, California makes her highly specialized in Litigation and Probate and Trust/Estates Administration. Ms. Jung started working for a personal injury law firm as a legal assistant, while she attended University of California, Los Angeles to earn her paralegal certification. Thereafter, she joined a boutique Trust and Estate firm where she was able to delve in a gain hands on experience in various Estate Planning, Trust Administration and Conservatorship matters. She was subsequently employed as a Litigation Paralegal for over two-years, and became a valuable component in a law firm which focused on public entity defense against civil rights actions. She then worked for a reputable probate trust and estates firm in Los Angeles where she handled numerous high profile estates. She recently moved to Dubai in late 2015 and has joined the corporate/transactions team.
