Mr. Pullman's federal income tax practice includes mergers and acquisitions, partnership, subchapter S and international taxation. In the corporate area, Mr. Pullman’s practice includes tax-free reorganizations, taxable stock and asset acquisitions, spin-offs, recapitalizations, preservation of net operating losses and consolidated returns. Mr. Pullman has significant experience in the partnership area, and regularly structures transactions that involve complex partnership taxation issues. In the international area, Mr. Pullman's practice involves advising domestic and multinational clients on various tax aspects of cross-border mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Pullman’s clients include large public companies, middle market companies, international joint ventures and start ups.
Before joining K&L Gates, Mr. Pullman worked at the national office of the Internal Revenue Service where he developed legislation and regulations in the corporate tax area. Mr. Pullman has written and spoken on corporate tax issues in various tax forums.
