Amanda Bryan is an associate in the intellectual property group in the firm’s Charlotte office. Her practice incorporates a broad range intellectual property matters, including patent and trademark preparation and prosecution, licensing, and client counseling. Ms. Bryan draws on her background in biochemistry and biotechnology as one area of focus for her patent preparation and prosecution practice. Her experience encompasses a broad range of industries, including work related to specialty chemicals, materials, fibers, medical devices, information technology, and mechanical devices.
Ms. Bryan also has experience in an extensive variety of trademark matters, representing clients in a broad spectrum of industries. She has worked with clients having large trademark portfolios, both U.S. and foreign.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Bryan was a summer associate at a New York city-based intellectual property firm, where she worked on complex patent litigation in the pharmaceutical industry. She also has experience as a research assistant in both biochemistry and biotechnology, focusing particularly on the interaction of infectious microbiological organisms with human hosts on a subcellular level.
