Professional Background

Prior to joining K&L Gates, Mr. Chang was a legal associate at the chambers of one of Asia’s foremost arbitrators, where he acted as tribunal secretary and/or assistant for various arbitral tribunals in commercial and investment arbitrations across various institutional rules. He also has experience assisting on appellate cases before the Dubai International Financial Centre Courts.

  • Appointed as tribunal secretary in an ICC arbitration concerning a product liability dispute between English and Indian entities with over GBP 26 million at stake.
  • Appointed as tribunal secretary in an ICC arbitration concerning a shareholders’ dispute between Chinese entities with over USD 15 million at stake.
